Subject to the policy terms and conditions always (including the payment of an excess), Liability Insurance is secured and extended to cover all registered Talent anywhere in Australia while they are providing services and only when arranged and paid for through the acta platform (website or app).
Registered Talent are covered for any legal liability should they receive any demands for compensation arising from the services they performed via the acta platform and any actual or alleged negligence resulting in personal injury and/or property damage to any third parties.
The policy also includes cover for the registered Talent and their legal defense costs.
The Liability Policy held by acta is via Pacific Indemnity Underwriting Solutions Pty Ltd as a cover holder for Zurich Australian Insurance Limited. Limits are $20,000,000 for any one occurrence for Public Liability and $20,000,000 for any one occurrence in an annual aggregate for Products Liability.
